  Is there favoritism toward BSU by Idaho spudnick officials? A controversy resolved. I’m David Sparks and I’ll have that story next. I don’t know where I saw this article but somebody in the media was trying to stir up a flap by saying that the Idaho Potato Commission, or specifically, Frank Muir, its Executive Director favored the Broncos over the Vandals this year. I love going straight to the source so I called Frank up and asked him directly. Here’s his response. “Every year the Idaho Potato Commission determines some exciting way to kick off our harvest and we couldn’t think of any better way than with football. With BSU hopefully having a run for the national championship we thought it would be a great opportunity to tie in with the Broncos. At the same time we recognize there are a lot of Vandal fans here in Idaho and we’ve partnered with both schools in a 6 year contract and on the game coming up on November 12^th, we will be the sponsor of that game. On November 12^th, who do you hope wins? An Idaho University.”
