Rosenkrance Speaks
The story of persecution by the Bureau of Land Management. At least that’s what Western Watersheds would have you believe. I’m David Sparks and we’re going right to the BLM officer who issued citations next. As the Statesman said recently: “BLM-Challis Field Manager David Rosenkrance played a role in revoking three grazing allotments to the Hailey-based Western Watershed Project. Here’s Rosenkrance: “In July 2000 the BLM received an application from Valley Sun to transfer the grazing permit from a Albody Trust to Valley Sun. The paperwork included signing the assignment of range improvement wherein Valley Sun agreed to follow the cooperative agreement signed by the prior operator. Valley Sun applied for non-use in acquiring the grazing permit and in 2006 through 2007 they requested non-use because they were in the process of acquiring livestock. Since they have said they do not intend to graze the public lands. The decision to cancel their permits came March 26, 2010 for violations of the grazing regulations.” Does BLM have it out for Valley Sun? “No everybody has to follow the same rules.”
