Marketing Cattle By Video Part Two

Marketing Cattle By Video Part Two

Block buster movies need great actors, actresses and directors. I'm Jeff Keane; I'll be back in one minute to tell you some of the ingredients of an excellent cattle marketing video.Just like first rate actors, actresses and great directors can make a hit movie, excellent cattle and reputable sales representatives can produce a select cattle marketing video. It had better be good since your cattle will only have about two minutes to convince buyers to purchase them. Three sales reps talked with Kim Holt writing for the Charolais Edge publication about video essentials. Jim Davis with Superior Livestock Auction and Dennis Metzger, representative for Western Video Market agree vaccination programs are very important information that needs to go with sales videos. Max Olvera, also with Western Video Market states a good rep should not only film, sellers' cattle and help write the contract he should also keep producers apprised of market trends. What information should be on the contract? Well, these three agents suggest vaccination records, mineral programs, seed stock suppliers, genetic verification, source and age identification, and previous year performance data. Of course estimated weight, delivery date and terms of delivery are on all contracts. Metzer, Davis and Olvera also stress how important it is for producers to help with presenting cattle for filming. So if you think video marketing would work for you, contact a respected representative, get your records in order and make movie stars of your cattle. I'm Jeff Keane.
