FFA Tags

How many times as you are driving down the street do you end up behind a vehicle with a “vanity” tag that has you scratching your head in wonder; wondering what in the world it is supposed to represent! Now why would a person spend the extra dollars on a special license plate if nobody but them knows what the heck it means? It doesn’t make much sense, does it? Well finally a special tag that does make sense is being proposed; at least in Washington state. The Washington FFA Association and Chelan FFA are conducting a special license plate signature drive. FFA members will be collecting signatures from interested individuals who would like to buy an FFA license plate for their vehicle. The Department of Licensing has stated that before they will issue special plates the organization receiving the funding from the sales of such plates must supply sufficient interest. I really don’t think that will be an issue; many other states will probably soon follow suit. In fact, they will probably be “up to their license plates” in interested buyers.
