Richard and Morgan Brunee are growing beans and raising three children on their 290 acre farm near Eden.
RICHARD "And we also have 70 acres over at Hazleton and that consists mostly of row crops, beans, hay. These are a garden bean variety. We raise them for Harris Moran seeds. They either export a lot of them or put them into the little packages."
They think it's important to bring the family into the farm operation so they can learn about work and the freedom they can enjoy.
RICHARD "They are getting to the age where they can go along a lot more. Some of our newer equipment they have seats that they can sit in."
The Brunee's have been involved with YFR for more than five years and this year they took on the challenge of home schooling their oldest daughter.
MORGAN "So that's been a whole new challenge trying just get her schedule going. It's been a good challenge and we really enjoy the lifestyle of the farm and the flexibility it give us and the education the kids get from it and the experience."
