08/12/08 Green Women VS Green Men

The battle of the sexes appears to have gone green. And no I'm not talking about "envy" of any kind! I am talking green as in environmentally conscious. It is being touted by a recent survey that women make considerably "greener" based decisions in the business world than their male counterparts. And with "green" now being good for business and a business's image this could open a new door for equal employment opportunities for women. But what makes women more environmentally conscious decision makers than men is a loaded question; one that sparks debate on a surprisingly primal level. Blogs on the subject range anywhere from meanderings on the ability to give birth to inane rantings about remote control clinginess and big boy toys versus Prada shoes and a daily tally on toilet flushing. Bottom line, it seems to be a pointless survey which only results in once again creating discord between the sexes. Male or female, we are all part of the same global community and shouldn't loose sight of saving the forest for the trees.
