SHARK attack on Rodeo The actions of the Earth Liberation Front or Elf prove that a few demented individuals can have a big impact on society. I'm Jeff Keane and after the break I will tell you about a fringe group out to destroy rodeo. Rodeo has their own version of Elf here's Susan Allen with more on the extremists called SHARK. Jeff , The president of SHARK (showing Animals Respect and Kindess) Steve Hindi is a sad publicity starved individual whose goal is to grow SHARK into the next PETA, funny though he can't seem to gain much of a following. Hindi attempts to get rodeo film focusing on the cattle prod used to move livestock in the chutes and works to have tie down roping banned. The man has no background with animals and on his website even posts anti American Veterinary Medical Association rhetoric. At my son's college rodeo this month in Walla Walla contestants were warned SHARK would use fear tactics (a la PETA) towards rodeo sponsors. Jeff, the irony is that the theme of this year' s Walla Walla College Rodeo was "Riding Against Child Abuse" with rodeo proceeds going towards combating this crisis." Other rodeos have raised millions for breast cancer yet this sick individual wants to destroy an event that promotes positive American values over a humanly used cattle prod. One way to give SHARK a bite is by supporting and thanking the businesses that sponsor rodeos whether it be junior, high school college or pro. I'm Jeff Keane.
