On Friday Chicago March wheat was off 13 ½ to 9.31 ½. Kansas City ended the week at 945 ¾, dropping 19 ¾ on Friday while Minneapolis March wheat dropped 12 ½ to end at 10.83 ¼. Analyst Brian Hoopes says trading was light on Friday. HOOPES "Traders are probably going to be fairly quiet until we get into the late part of the week as we start to position ahead of Friday's key supply and demand reports where USDA will not only the final production figure for the year but also they will update the demand figures as well as the first look at the winter wheat seeding numbers." March corn added ¾ to close the week at 4.66 ¾. Portland cash white and Club White both steady, mostly 13.25. Pacific Northwest HRW 11.5 percent protein January down 20, mostly 10.51 Dark Northern Spring 14 percent protein January down a dime mostly 12.18. Export barley at the coast $256/ton. February live cattle down .22 at 94.55 March feeders off .57 at 103.35 February Class III milk at Chicago lost .24 to 18.88.
