Outside of Jerome is where Don and Hazel Tolman set up their dairy farm and their home. Hazel fell in lover with Idaho more than five decades ago. TOLMAN "I lived in Bothwell, that's west of Tremonton, Utah when I was a girl. Then I married Don we moved to Salmon for two years and then we moved to Corinne for eleven years, and then we've been here. Seven children. Don has always had the dairy and then we went into the service. He came home in September of '45 and we were married on the 22nd of January in '46. We had 160 and then bought 40 more and now we are renting two other farms here. So we figure 30 acres from each one of those, that's 60 more acres. He had his horses and he loved his horses and he used those horses for everything. He's pulled the Farm Bureau floats in parades and pulled Santa Claus around Jerome and hauled school kids and church kids. He had beautiful horses."
