07/09/07 Kid rodeo

The setting is the Guthrie Arena in Inkom for the YFR Kid Rodeo. About 60 kids from around the state are there. Little kids. LARSON "My name is Cooper Larson. I caught it. I caught it Mom." If you don't want to catch it, you can ride it. MOTHER "Trying to get her to do the stick horse. She kind of struggled there." The rodeo clown sees green when he gets the kids ready for the goat chase. CLOWN "Don't go for the ribbons, go for the dollars." And then there's mutton busting. Deanna Swore and Kelsey Benson, both of Pocatello, were relieved when it was over. SWORE "It was bumpy and hard. I hold on for all it could." BENSON "When I ride the sheep it was fun. It was bumpy, a little." Not sure about that. YFR Kid Rodeo, a little fear, but a lot of fun for the entire family. Voice of Idaho Agriculture Bill Scott
