06/01/07 TechHelp offers just that, tech help

In this ever expanding world of value added products Idaho manufacturers, ag producers and businesses are learning to take advantage of TechHelp. The not-for-profit organization has a complete range of services from specialists trying to help manufacturers become self sufficient. TechHelp does that in a number of ways like a just completed Cheese Making Workshop, which has a waiting list every year it seems. There's a Lean Office Workshop in Boise next week A four and one-half day Introductory Food Microbiology Course will be held in Boise on August 13th through the 17th. There's a lot more says the University of Idaho's Jeff Kronenberg. KRONENBERG "Research capabilities for food processors and people needing help in that area and we have of course all of our programs up on campus at Moscow for our degrees in food science. We also have internship programs for our students for people needing assistance from an intern." If you'd like to learn more about TechHelp and its potential benefits go on line at www.techhelp.org or through the University of Idaho website. Voice of Idaho Agriculture Bill Scot
