GLASPEY -"We're looking for shareholders. We're a public company so we need to get out and tell our story."
Somebody was listening. Glaspey's US Geothermal Inc. just signed an agreement with a syndicate of Canadian investors who will put up 15 million dollars for 6.8 million shares of company stock. The proceeds from that sale will be used for working capital. It's also possible the Canadian underwriters could elect to take an additional five million dollars in US Geothermal stock by the June 5th closing. US Geothermal is currently developing a geothermal power project at Raft River and is doing exploratory drilling at a second site in eastern Oregon known as Neal Hot Springs.
