Planting Ideas for Peanut Progress
Producers across the Southeast are invited to attend the 49th annual Georgia Peanut Farm Show and Conference on Jan. 15 at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus Conference Center. The show runs from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and brings together peanut farmers and industry partners to share the latest products, services, and research supported by the Georgia Peanut Commission.With nearly 100 exhibitors on site, farmers will have plenty of opportunities to connect with companies and explore tools that support today’s peanut operations. Among the presentations are educational sessions from the University of Georgia Peanut Team. UGA specialists will present information regarding production advice to remain profitable and what it will cost, as well as disease and weed management tips for the coming season.
Growers will also be able to learn about peanut varieties available for 2026 and varieties on the horizon during the Industry Seed Seminar.
