The Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) will host Idaho Agriculture Day on Tuesday, January 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the State Capitol Building. 

This year’s theme, “A Taste of Idaho Agriculture at the Capitol,” highlights the opportunity for Idaho’s agricultural industry to connect with state elected officials and the public through meaningful conversations paired with food that represents the diversity of Idaho agriculture.

 

The event will be on the second floor of the Rotunda and is open to the public. ISDA invites attendees to engage directly with farmers, ranchers and commodity group representatives while sampling foods that showcase Idaho produced commodities and products. 

The following organizations will host informational booths interactive activities and food offerings representing their commodities.

Idaho Agriculture Day serves as a platform for dialogue and connection offering state leaders and the public insight into how agriculture and food processing fuels our communities and contributes more than 26 billion dollars to Idaho’s economy.
