Farms today are collecting more data than ever before, but that doesn’t always mean that information can be trusted. Todd Kirwan, founder of Apex Precision Agriculture, says real value only comes when that data is organized, accurate, and managed with intention.

Kirwan… “ You've got to have somebody on your team that is passionate about the data and clean data and understanding that good data is clean data. Good data is the only way you're gonna get good results. If you're just dumping data in and then pulling the results out at the end of the year, you're not looking at the results that you think you are. And so just having that clean data and having a system, it's the setup of getting the system in place so that it's easy to do.”

Kirwan helps farms and agribusiness utilize software like AgWorld, to turn data into insights.

Kirwan… “ A lot of people have a ton of data, and there's quite a few guys, especially in this area that have Agworld, but they're not really utilizing it. There's a lot of data there. There's a lot of garbage there. And so it's cleaning it up and getting the system set up so that they can utilize it.”

Once again, that’s Todd Kirwan.
