One of America’s greatest natural resources is our grazing lands. And this last week ranchers from across the U.S. gathered in Billings, Montana for Grazing Expo 2025 hosted by the Montana GLCI in partnership with the Wyoming GLCI.

Dr. Jeff Goodwin, Director of the Center for Grazinglands and Ranch Management at Texas A&M University set the tone for the Grazing Expo with his message: Grazing management: Generation of Change.

It's also important for ranchers to really understand grazing efficiencies.

He also says ranchers today have an incredible opportunity to build on the wisdom of the past to set themselves and the next generation up for success by building coalitions and being rewarded for their stewardship.

To learn more about America’s grazing lands-both private and public-and how you can get more involved at the state and national level to help preserve them for future generations, visit the National Grazing Lands Coalition website at www.grazinglands.org.
