Effective ag marketing hinges on one thing: understanding your buyer. For Nicci Stewart, campaign manager of SummerStar Ruby grapefruit, finding and connecting with the right audience has been essential to marketing grapefruit. She highlights how millennials and generation Z play a big role in creating a successful, modern campaign.
Stewart… “Looking at these two groups, the Gen Zs are largely in a position where they're driving trends at the moment. So they're sort of setting the tone. They're creating these, and millennials are following that. But your millennial market is in a much stronger position financially at the moment. By and large, they're older, their careers are more established. Um, lot of them have got families, so that sort of has that dual benefit of influencing the children, their children as well, to start consuming the product. But they're also sitting in decision-making positions. So sort of middle management where they're potentially making decisions around products that are being bought to go install products that are being bought to be trialed in the hospitality industry. So that was why we specifically tapped into these two markets because it hits all those kind of strategic checkpoints that we need to.”
Once again, that’s Nicci Stewart with SummerStar Ruby grapefruit.
