The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association is calling on students, young producers, and singers across the Southeast: CattleCon 2026 is coming to Nashville February 3rd through 5th, and applications are now open.

The NCBA National Anthem Contest runs through October 15, giving one lucky winner the chance to sing at the Opening Session. The prize package includes airfare, hotel, and convention perks—including a full outfit from Roper or Stetson.

College students with cattle knowledge and a knack for social media can apply for NCBA’s internship program. It’s a hands-on role that includes event setup, committee support, and plenty of networking. Applications are due by October 15.

There are also scholarships available for youth and first-timers to help cover registration and hotel. And for producers planning to attend, the Rancher Resilience Grant can reimburse costs.

No matter your angle—scholarship, stage, or social media—you’ve got a chance to take part. CattleCon 2026 registration opens August 20. Learn more and apply at convention.ncba.org.
