Power Pollen is an ag tech company that says they improve crop pollination for increased agricultural productivity and profitability. The company has created a process of using solid particulates blended with fresh pollen greens to protect pollen's viability during storage. Jason Cope, Power Pollen, chief intellectual property officer,

“Power pollen, started with the concept that if we could actually preserve pollen, particularly from row crops, that there was so much more value to be realized in industry from the flexibility it would give you. So if you look back on the 10-year history of Power Pollen really started with intellectual property being the foundation. What that means, essentially, is, as we made breakthrough discoveries for how to preserve pollen and how to handle pollen, we actually patented those processes and those methods. So, if you fast forward to today, I mentioned the scaled breakthrough technology to collect, preserve, and apply. What we're actually doing is collecting pollen in mass, storing it, and then going back out and reapplying it to the female parts of the plant when it's in its best state for reproducibility. Through that, we're able to increase yield, increase purity, deliver traits on demand. There's all sorts of things you can do.”

“Power Pollen is an IP company licensing seed companies to use their technology.
