Commodity Classic Right Around the Corner

“I mean, the theme for me is, I want to make my operation better. I want to do two things. I want to go to the educational sessions to make my operation better, especially this year. How maybe, can I do the same yield wise, but maybe cut back, maybe use some more biologicals on input. Try to keep you know, but still try to raise higher yields, or at least the same yields, because the prices are so constrained this year, as far as profits go, if there is any, the other side is networking with both farmers and exhibitors, because at this show, you get the CEOs, you get the CFOs, you get the head of sale.”
Schaffer says there will be a new addition to commodity classic.
“This year we're having a pancake breakfast. So basically, we're gonna have worship, where folks can go to church on Sunday mornings, and then we're gonna have pancake sausage breakfast after, I think, from 11 to one o'clock for people to get together and have fellowship after the church and that kind of stuff. So and then the trade show will turn around and start right at at three o'clock on Sunday afternoon. So that's brand new.”
