From the Ag Information Network, this is your Agribusiness Update.**Charles Hall, founder and former CEO of Association Services Group, a LaGrange-based association management company, passed away at the age of 74.
Known for his leadership, love of agriculture, and passion for associations, Hall was instrumental throughout his life building trade associations that do great things for their industries.
Deeply loved and respected by family, friends, colleagues, and community members, Hall will be laid to rest in LaGrange, Georgia.

**President Trump announced his slate of undersecretary nominees for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Via social media, Trump announced he will nominate Richard Fordyce as Ag undersecretary for farm production and conservation.
Dudley Hoskins was nominated as undersecretary for marketing and regulatory programs.
Luke Lindberg was nominated as undersecretary for trade and foreign ag affairs.
And Michael Boren was nominated as undersecretary for natural resources and environment.
**McDonald’s is ending its commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion within its supply chain and is “retiring setting aspirational representation goals,” according to a letter to employees and suppliers.
Despite the change, McDonald’s says it met its U.S. goal of spending 25% of its supplier budget with diverse-owned companies three years ahead of schedule.
The company says it will continue to report demographic information about its board, employees and suppliers.
