For years, the agricultural industry has been promoting the four R’s of nutrient management: right product, right rate, right time, right placement. AgXplore International executive vice president Gunther Kreps says their point of view is that there’s also a fifth “R” to add to the list: the right technology.

Kreps… “One thing that we also do, Tim, that is above and beyond what the industry standards are: when we've got a fertilizer. I've been in this business for well over 20 years and all these meetings that I go to, we talk about the four R's of fertilizer management. It's the right product right time, right place. We believe at AgX that there's a fifth R, and it's that right technology. And that's that technology to make fertilizer available to your crop when you put it in the soil or to keep it available. Or once it's inside that plant, how do you make it function? Which biostimulants or plant growth regulators can you use to help that plant metabolize and mobilize that attrition and make it function at higher capacity? So you see a better ROI at the end of the day. So those are a couple things that we do that are, I think are unique in challenging the status quo in ag.”

AgXplore is a plant nutrition company with a portfolio of adjuvants, stimulants, plant growth regulators, and fertilizer management tools.
