Farmers Want Proven Solutions

Elevated costs and reduced profits margins are causing farmers to be more picky about what new technology they are bringing to their fields. Cory Willness, CEO & co-founder of Croptimistic Technology says these days, it’s more common for farmers look for proven value propositions before trying out a product.
Willness... "The core business that we're working in is probably like at the early majority stage or well past early adopter. I think we have like 3.5 million acres used in ourselves that's retained and growing rapidly and every piece of equipment that you buy now, you know, planters, air drills, sprayers, they all come with this technology. So people are going to adopt it and it's sticking now. We're well past the point of “Does this work?” I mean, no, but having said that, there's still a massive amount of new tech that's coming out that would fit into that. You know, is it going to be in the market? We don't want to release products that may or may not get uptake in the market. Like it has to be a proven value proposition before you even go there. I think everyone in general is more bring me something that's been proven for a while and then we'll talk, including us, and we're in the ag tech space."
Willness says Croptimistic Technology committed to bringing real value and real solutions to farmers and agronomists.
