New Raspberry Website Pt 2

From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson with today’s Fruit Grower Report. Out with the old and in with the new is the word from Washington’s red raspberry industry when it comes to their new and better website.

Raspberry Commission’s marketing team, says isn’t just for industry members …

BEADLE … “This is also the main hub for all of our other target audiences. Whether it’s consumers, or health professionals, or our primary target audience for the commission which is the trade. So, food service, food manufacturers, distributors, chefs, mixologists, schools.”

So, Beadle says something for everyone …

BEADLE … “This is their hub. So, you will be able to see all the information and resources that we have available to all of those audiences as well.”

And Beadle says it’s now up and running …

BEADLE … “We’re looking forward to spreading the word about the new website and the new design. We think it’s much more streamlined and it was passed due time for a refresh here, so we are super excited.”

On a related note, Beadle says they’re also working to improve their social media interactions …

BEADLE … “Our goal here was to increase social media engagement by 10% each year. But we have a very active social media calendar. Our stats with social media are tracking super well. So we’re very please with the way that that is going.”
