This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. The Beef market heats back up following the arctic system that came through over the weekend. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Dn 14, to finish at 5-82. March Corn was Dn 3 ½, to finish the day at 4-43 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Dn 13 ¾, to settle at 6-01 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Dn 10 - Unch, ranging from 6-85 to 7-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for March were Dn 15 - Unch, ranging 6-35 to 7-20. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for March were Dn 13 ¾, ranging from 6-61 ½ to 6-66 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were Dn 8 ¾, ranging from 7-70 ¾ to 7-80 ¾.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Up $1.00, closing at 175.17 ½. March Feeder Cattle were Up $1.12 ½, to finish the day at 228.82 ½. Feb. Class III milk was Dn $.17, to settle at 15.73.
