This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. A mixed grain market had traders on edge, while Wheat futures led the way. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Up 3 ¾, to finish at 5-68 ½. Dec. Corn was Dn 1 ¼, to finish the day at 4-87 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 6 ½, to settle at 6-83 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch to Up 10, ranging from 6-65 to 7-20. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Unch, ranging from 6-65 to 6-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were UP 6 ½, ranging from 7-13 ¼ to 7-58 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were Up 6 ¾, ranging from 7-80 ½ to 8-20 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Dn $2.70, closing at 185.65. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Dn $5.35, to finish the day at 250.35. Nov. Class III milk was Up $.05, to settle at 17.33.
