Commodities Swing Back
This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Commodities swing back as we close in on the Quarterly stock report coming out later today. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.
Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn ¾, to finish at 5-78 ¾. Dec. Corn was Up 5 ¼, to finish the day at 4-88 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 9 ½, to settle at 6-85.
Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 7-10 to 7-40. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Nov. were Unch, ranging from 6-85 to 7-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Nov. were Dn 9 ½, ranging from 7-24 ½ to 7-34 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Dn 3 ¾, ranging from 8-02 to 8-17.
Live Cattle for Dec. were Up $2.25, closing at 190.42 ½. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Up $2.47 ½, to finish the day at 254.72 ½. Nov. Class III milk was Dn $.05, to settle at 16.90.
