How can agriculture best take advantage of the benefits of artificial intelligence offers? Well, Randy Barker, founder and CEO of INTENT says we’ve already been using the technology for quantitative models, and now we have the ability to build language models on top of them.

Barker… “The other part that’s really interesting about AI and if you think about language models and all the versions there of is we engage by a language. So this is our rubric and if we can help people navigate and ask the right questions and frame problems, we will be able to tap into this depth of what would be geospatial, biological, environmental, and even sentiment data in the way that we communicate which is language. So I see that as an opportunity and we are definitely focused on integrating that aspect of language models into the other systemic models because agriculture is a lot more about quantitative numbers and index models and the two will cross over. And that speaks to where we were which is we ought to be efficient, and convenient, and more real-time.”
