Weekly Export Report
This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. The grain market struggled to create demand yesterday following the weekly corn export report. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.
Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 40 ¼, to finish at 7-20. Dec. Corn was Dn 17, to finish the day at 5-48 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 47 ½, to settle at 8-65 ¼.
Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch- Dn 20, ranging from 7-50 to 8-00. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 20 - UNCH, ranging from 7-30 to 8-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 47 ½, ranging from 8-65 ¼ to 8-95 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn 36 ¼, ranging from 9-45 ¾ to 9-55 ¾.
Live Cattle for Oct. were Up $.35, closing at 179.95. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Up $.97 ½, to finish the day at 244.20. Aug. Class III milk was Dn $.35, to settle at 17.02.
