This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Market’s continue to digest Friday’s USDA acreage report, with over 2 Million additional corn acres planted. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Up 32 ½, to finish at 6-74 ¼. Dec. Corn was Unch, to finish the day at 4-94 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 49 ¾, to settle at 8-46 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Dn 05, ranging from 6-95 to 7-35. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Dn 5-unch, ranging from 6-85 to 7-00. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Up 49 ¾, ranging from 8-91 ¼ to 8-96 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Up 38 ¼ to 48 ¼, ranging from 9-07 ½ to 9-27 ½.

Live Cattle for Aug. was Dn $1.87 ½, closing at 174.95. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Dn $3.20, to finish the day at 244.70. Aug. Class III milk was Dn $.34, to settle at 14.46.
