Louisianan RD Trammel entered a bass fishing tournament with his friend Jerry. They were on the water with RD catching bass when Jerry casted his spinning rod and his spool came off and went into the water. Now what? He said, How am I going after you? Got another spool? He said, No. I said, You have another nut. He said, Oh, yeah, I got another nut. And I said, Well, you got to fill all that line off, get your spool. Hope you tied it on good. And I said, re reel. Well the whole time he was doing all this, I'm still catching fish. He finally gets his spool up and gets it put on there and he wants me to help him get lined back on it. I told him no. So there was some choice words from him. So I said, No, you own your own brother. You go to spooling. I said, I got a pencil. You can stick to your spool and you can reel it up. So he did. He finally gets hooked up, reel and put back together and get his bait on there. And he starts fishing and catching fish. We fished till 2:00, was back at the Rollers at two. The prize was on the biggest fish and the most fish. That was between four boats. That was eight guys. When we ended up, Jerry and I, we won both the biggest fish and the most fish. I had caught a five and three quarter bass and he had caught one right at five. The quantity that we had caught from the time that we started to the time that we quit, we had caught 103 bass. One of the boats. They had like 40 something that they had caught. RD and Jerry won the tournament.
