This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. The beef market continues to stay on an upward path, following suit with strong cash prices. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Up 3, to finish at 6-78 ½. May Corn was Up 10 ½, to finish the day at 6-54. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Up 11 ½, to settle at 8-76.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 7-65 to 7-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for June were Unch, ranging from 7-45 to 7-65. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for June were Up 12 ¼, ranging from 9-88 ¼ to 10-08 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for June were Up 3 ½, ranging from 9-59 ¾ to 9-74 ¾.

Live Cattle for June was Up $.60, closing at 163.70. May Feeder Cattle were Up $.22 ½, to finish the day at 205.62 ½. May Class III milk was Dn $.18, to settle at 17.77.
