USDA Soybean Bushel Outlook
This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. USDA projects 87 million planted Soybean acres, with a national avg. of 52 bushels/acre. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to see how that compares to previous years.Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Dn 4, to finish at 7-76 ¼. May Corn was Up 1, to finish the day at 6-75. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Up 4 ¼, to settle at 8-87 ¼.
Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Dn 5 - Unch, ranging from 8-45 to 8-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for April were Dn 4 - Unch, ranging 8-45 to 8-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for May were Up 4 ¼, ranging from 10-17 ¼ to 10-27 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for May were up 6 ½ - 11 ½, ranging from 10-08 ¾ to 10-18 ¾.
Live Cattle for April were Dn $.52 ½, closing at 164.07 ½. March Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.10 to finish the day at 186.22 ½. March Class III milk was Dn $.02, to settle at 17.64.
