This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Another mixed day in the beef market, as traders holding out to see how the supply chain might change things. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for May closed the day Dn 16 ½, to finish at 7-80 ¼. May Corn was Dn 5 ¾, to finish the day at 6-74. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for May were Dn 12 ¼, to settle at 8-83.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Dn 15, ranging from 8-50 to 8-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for April were Dn 6 - Unch, ranging 8-49 to 8-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for April were Dn 12 ¼, ranging from 10-13 to 10-23. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were 6 ½, ranging from 10-02 ¼ to 10-07 ¼.

Live Cattle for April were Dn $.07 ½, closing at 164.60. March Feeder Cattle were Up $.67 ½ to finish the day at 187.32 ½. March Class III milk was Dn $.08, to settle at 17.66.
