This week sheep producers from across the country are headed to Texas for the American Sheep Industry Association’s Annual Convention. ASI executive director Peter Orwick says it’s still the largest gathering of the year for the sheep industry.

"We're going to Texas, the largest sheep producing state in the nation" said Orwick. "We haven't done Fort Worth. So, this will be a new one for our national meeting. I think I counted 14 national organizations join us each year for this convention. You literally have the entire lamb industry, the entire wool industry, from warehouse to mills, plants, lamb feeders. They all show up at this meeting. It's just a great place to network and get your business done."
