An Almond Farmer Pivots To Recharge His Orchard Groundwater

Mark Hutson farms almonds, walnuts, and pistachios and instead of replanting after taking out an orchard. He's waiting a few years to use the ground to store excess rainfall water. It is certainly working this winter on his farm.
