This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Cash Cattle remain steady as weekly slaughter numbers finish the week strong. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Dn 3 ¼, to finish at 7-43 ½. March Corn was Up 1 ¼, to finish the day at 6-54. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Dn 7 ¾, to settle at 8-32.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 8-40 to 8-95. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for March were Unch, ranging 8-29 to 8-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for March were Dn 7 ¾, to settle at 9-52. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were Dn 7 ¼, to settle at 9-81 ¾.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Up $.57 ½, closing at 156.77 ½. March Feeder Cattle were Dn $.90 to finish the day at 185.57 ½. Feb. Class III milk was Up $.28 to settle at 18.59.
