This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Grains kick off the new year under pressure as commodities were red across the board. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Dn 16 ½, to finish at 7-75 ½. March Corn was Dn 8, to finish the day at 6-70 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Dn 18 ¾, to settle at 8-69 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Dn 20, ranging from 8-55 to 9-10. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 01 - 15, ranging 8-49 to 8-70. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 18 ¾ – 38 ¾, to settle at 9-89 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were Dn 19 ½ - 39 ½, to settle at 9-99 ¼.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Dn $1.05, closing at 156.85. March Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.45 to finish the day at 184.77 ½. Jan. Class III milk was Dn $.47 to settle at 19.07.
