This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Feeder Cattle finish the year on a high note, as markets wrapped up the 2022 trading year. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Up 18, to finish at 7-92. March Corn was Dn 1, to finish the day at 6-78 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Up 21 ½, to settle at 8-88.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 8-55 to 9-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Up 18, finishing the day at 7-92. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were Up 21 ½, to settle at 8-88. DNS wheat prices for Feb. were Up 24 ¾,to settle at 9-38 ¾.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Dn $.95, closing at 157.90. March Feeder Cattle were Up $.55 to finish the day at 186.22 ½. Jan. Class III milk was Dn $.19 to settle at 19.54.
