This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Cattle look to finish the year on a high note, as today marks the last day of trading for 2022. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Dn 11 ½, to finish at 7-74. March Corn was Dn 3 ¼, to finish the day at 6-79 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Dn 15 ¾, to settle at 8-66 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 8-55 to 9-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 06 - Unch, ranging 8-44 to 8-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 15 ¾, ranging from 9-86 ½ to 10-06 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were Dn 20, ranging from 9-94 to 10-14.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Up $1.05, closing at 158.85. March Feeder Cattle were Up $.57 ½ to finish the day at 186.77 ½. Jan. Class III milk was Up $.12 to settle at 19.73.
