This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. The Beef Market pulled back a little yesterday, looking for direction from the Cash Market. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Up 11, to finish at 7-85 ½. March Corn was Up 8, to finish the day at 6-82 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Up 3, to settle at 8-82 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Up 05- Unch, ranging from 8-55 to 9-30. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 04 - Unch, ranging 8-50 to 8-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were Up 3, ranging from 10-02 ¼ to 10-22 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were Dn ¼, ranging from 10-14 to 10-34.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Dn $.07 ½, closing at 157.80. March Feeder Cattle were Up $.80 to finish the day at 186.20. Jan. Class III milk was Dn $.22 to settle at 19.61.
