This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. Corn managed to hold onto March contracts, while drought conditions persist in South America threatening crops. Let’s go to Terry Roggensack with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Up 2, to finish at 7-50 ½. March Corn was Up 4 ¾, to finish the day at 6-52. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Up 3 ½, to settle at 8-47.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were UNCH, ranging from 8-55 to 9-30. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 05 - UNCH, ranging from 8-49 to 8-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were Up 3 ½, ranging from 9-67 to 9-87. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were Up 7 ¾, ranging from 9-96 to 10-16.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Dn $.47 ½, closing at 154.47 ½. March Feeder Cattle were Up $1.22 ½, to finish the day at 185.02 ½. Jan. Class III milk was Dn $.34, to settle at 18.73.
