This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Live Cattle firms up on strong demand, creating high boxed beef prices. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day Dn 5, to finish at 7-48 ½. March Corn was Dn 5 ¾, to finish the day at 6-47 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March were Dn ½, to settle at 8-43 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were UNCH, ranging from 8-55 to 9-30. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 05 - UNCH, ranging from 8-49 to 8-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Feb. were Dn 05, ranging from 9-63 ½ to 9-83 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Feb. were Dn 1 ¼, ranging from 9-88 ¼ to 10-08 ¼.

Live Cattle for Feb. were Up $.27 ½, closing at 156.05. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.67 ½, to finish the day at 182.10. Jan. Class III milk was Dn $.17, to settle at 19.07.
