This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Traders keeping an eye on Cash Cattle prices along with tighter packer margins as we near the end of the year. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 12 ½, to finish at 7-83. March Corn was Dn 6 ½, to finish the day at 6-60 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Mar. were Dn 9 ½, to settle at 8-90 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Dn 05-30, ranging from 8-80 to 9-30. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Jan. were DN 14-33, ranging from 8-65 to 8-85. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Jan. were DN 9 ½, ranging from 10-10 ¼ to 10-330 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were DN 5, ranging from 10-18 to 10-58.

Live Cattle for Feb. were DN $.25, closing at 155.42 ½. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Up $.60, to finish the day at 181.07 ½. Jan. Class III milk was UP $.61, to settle at 20.03.
