This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Cash Cattle continued to firm up, which helped stabiliz the beef market as a whole. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 9 ¼, to finish at 8-29 ¼. Dec Corn was Dn 1 ½, to finish the day at 6-80 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 7 ¼, to settle at 9-25.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 8-90 to 9-65. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Dn 7-Unch, ranging from 8-83 to 9-15. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Jan. were Dn 7 ¼, ranging from 10-45 to 10-85. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Dn 5 ½, ranging from 10-25 to 10-45.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Dn $.42 ½, closing at 153.00. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.07 ½, to finish the day at 180.37 ½. Nov. Class III milk was Dn $.18, to settle at 20.21.
