This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Cattle continue to see demand as they move higher for the 4th day in a row, moving out of sideways channel. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Up 08, to finish at 8-49 ¼. Dec Corn was Up 5 ¾, to finish the day at 6-84. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 8, to settle at 9-49 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 8-75 to 9-65. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Unch, ranging from 8-78 to 9-15. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were Up 8, ranging from 10-69 ¾ to 11-04 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were Up 9, ranging from 10-42 ½ to 10-87 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Up $.32 ½, closing at 151.67 ½. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.82 ½, to finish the day at 179.25. Nov. Class III milk was dn $.01, to settle at 20.29.
