Wheat Exports Touch 50 Year Lows

This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Grains were steady to mixed as the week came to a close, as Wheat exports touch 50 year lows. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 32 ½, to finish at 8-59 ¾. Dec Corn was Dn 8, to finish the day at 6-89 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 30, to settle at 9-52 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch – Dn 15, ranging from 9-15 to 9-65. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Dn 10- Unch, ranging from 9-03 to 9-40. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were Dn 3, ranging from 10-72 ¼ to 11-02 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Dec. were Dn 24 ¾, ranging from 10-34 ¼ to 10-79 ¼.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Dn $.15, closing at 144.77 ½. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.20, to finish the day at 175.10. Dec. Class III milk was Dn $.72, to settle at 19.70.
