This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. The Wheat market shrugged off a bearish WASDE report from earlier in the week to pick up demand. Let’s go to Ted Siefried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Up 9 ½, to finish at 9-08 ½. Dec Corn was Up 4 ¾, to finish the day at 6-97 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 12 ¼, to settle at 9-82 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Dn 5- Unch, ranging from 9-10 to 9-80. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Up 10 & Dn 05, ranging from 9-13 to 9-40. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were Up 12 ¼ & Dn 2 ¾, ranging from 11-02 ¼ to 11-32 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Up 12 ¼, ranging from 10-59 to 10-79.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Dn $.52 ½, closing at 147.92 ½. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.57 ½, to finish the day at 176.10. Nov. Class III milk was Dn $.10, to settle at 21.16.
