This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. Drought causing delivery issues on the Mississippi River, slowing grain exports. Let’s go to Ted Seifried with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 23, to finish at 8-79. Dec Corn was Dn 8, to finish the day at 6-83 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Dn 25 ¼, to settle at 9-65.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch – Dn 20, ranging from 9-35 to 9-85. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Unch - 01, ranging from 9-34 to 9-54. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were Unch, ranging from 10-85 to 11-30. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Dn 19, ranging from 10-42 ½ to 10-82 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Dn $.05, closing at 147.87 ½. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.90, to finish the day at 176.42 ½. Nov. Class III milk was Up $.10, to settle at 21.94.
