This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. The Corn Market held steady yesterday while Wheat picked up momentum. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Dn 1, to finish at 9-02. Dec Corn was Up 1, to finish the day at 6-84. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 1 ½, to settle at 9-90 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Dn 15- Unch, ranging from 9-35 to 10-05. Soft White Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Dec. were Unhc, ranging from 9-34 to 9-55. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Dec. were Up 1 ½, ranging from 11-10 ¼ to 11-55 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Nov. were Up 5 ¼, ranging from 10-61 ½ to 11-01 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Up $.42 ½, closing at 147.92 ½. Nov. Feeder Cattle were Up $2.12 ½, to finish the day at 177.32 ½. Nov. Class III milk was Up $.04, to settle at 21.84.
